this is a poor excuse for a journal.

i just typed out a VERY long paragraph of thoughts, highlighted it, and hit delete.

when you have to worry about 57 people reading it, it makes for a more guarded entry.

which is why i think for the most part i'll be sticking to a tangible paper journal from now on, thanks.

which is why my revised schedule is as follows:

monday: percussion 3:00-4:30, ensemble 6:30-9:30
tuesday: PRACTICE 2:30-4:00
wednesday: PRACTICE 5:00-6:30
thursday: drum leson 5:00-6:00, percussion 6:30-8:00
friday: percussion 3:00-4:30
saturday: PRACTICE 11:00-12:30, band practice in the evening

i am eating, sleeping, and breathing percussion, and i don't mind it a bit.

today, i did nothing.

it wasn't one of those days where you do nothing and you think to yourself, "ahhh.. i'm doing nothing, and it feels great!". it just kind of felt like i was wasting precious time even though i didn't really have anything better to do. other than nothing, that is.
